St. Lawrence Seaway

This seaway is considered the “Gateway to North America”. It’s a water route that extends 3700 kilometres from the Atlantic Ocean to the Great Lakes. The waterway has 15 locks to get ships moving.

Quebec Citadelle

In the shape of a four-pointed polygon, the Citadelle was an important fortification for Quebec. Construction began in 1820 and took 30 years to complete.

Hartland Covered Bridge

It’s long and dark so you better use your light to drive through the longest covered bridge it the world — that would be 390.75 metres. It crosses the St. John River and was officially opened in 1901.

Giant Lobster

It’s 10 metres long, weighs 50 tonnes, and it’s not edible but apparently the concrete/steel lobster in Shediac, New Brunswick attracts about 500,000 visitors a year.
