Dive into an assortment of science in this tabloid-style book. In eight chapters, readers learn the dazzling feats of Earthlings and their animal relatives.

Author Keltie Thomas starts at the very beginning (funny, you don’t look like a sponge). From there readers are taken on a tour of what makes us so unique. Science, history, psychology, and physiology are all mixed up, potion-style. Hey, any book that includes mummies is bound to have it all.

Along the way, you can test your smarts with hoax busting quizzes and find out if you know the truth behind common myths and tricks.

For those of you who aren’t in the know, this incredibly amazing book is about…us!! This five-star book drew me right in — it had tonnes of bright colours and quirky little drawings. The topic was interesting and fun to read about.

I liked all of the features in this book. One of the stories was called “Tales That Got Us”. This revealed the tricks behind common myths and tricks. (Uh, oh! Someone better call in the Mythbusters!)

I couldn’t say that I disliked any part of the book. No changes are necessary. I really enjoyed reading it. I give it a 10 out of 10. Super Humans was a phenomenal book. It was tonnes of fun, and I would recommend it to those who have an un-satisfiable taste for knowledge and aren’t afraid to learn a few weird things about us. In one word this book was AWESOME!!!
