Roadside Attractions

View from inside the mouth of the world’s largest dinosaur, Drumheller, Alberta

When we travel, we often go out of the way to see fantastic things: Niagara Falls, The Grand Canyon, Taj Mahal. So to draw tourist dollars, small towns build strange and wonderous things to attract you. Like the world’s largest dinosaur in Drumheller, Alberta. Or the world’s largest ball of twine in Darwin, Minnesota.

Send us a photo of you in front of a roadside attraction or a legitimate wonder and you could win a book pack consisting of: The New 50 Simple Things Kids Can Do To Save The EarthInuksuk Journey, Fantastic Feats and Failures.

We’ll also post some of the photos on our website and print some in the Sept/Oct issue of YES Mag.

You may enter more than one time, but only with photos in front of different attractions. Contest closes September 7, 2009.

This contest is now closed. Congratulations to the winner, Darcy Z.
