We talked about finishing the thruster
nozzles. We need to file down all the sides, and then screw
together the bilge pump motor to the thruster housing. Here
are a list of the different parts that make up our thruster:
• Prop
• Bilge pump
• Fairing housing
• Spacer
• Nozzle
To decide on which type of thruster
housing to use, we made about five different housings to test.
The design that we’re using is the latest and best design
to date. Due to the complexity, working on the thrusters usually
takes the most time.
